Our mobiles and stabiles are made from a number of different materials: Cast acrylic, metal, wood, EVA Foam, and glass to name a few. We are always looking for other materials which can provide a unique look.
All of our mobiles and stabiles do well in inside conditions. The items made solely from stainless steel, aluminum, glass, and from powder coated cold rolled steel do well outside.
With a few exceptions (like really large works), our pieces are shipped “Ready to Hang” when they arrive. In those cases where any assembly is required, instructions are included. All products marked “Lightweight” are designed to be hung from the ceiling using the inclosed length of clear monofilament line and a metal “cup hook” for screwing into the ceiling. If a product is designated “Heavy”, it may require a more substantial fitting,
Yes, we have many products ready to ship within 1-2 days of an order’s receipt. Most mobiles are shipped “Ready to Hang” and include a length of clear monofilament line and a metal “cup hook” for attaching to the ceiling.
While there are a selection of colors your mobile or stabile can be made from, let us know If you have specific material colors in mind. We will certainly work with you to arrive at the best possible color combinations.
Yes, the best locations for hanging you mobile are: Near or in a window, near an A/C vent or Ceiling Fan, in an entryway, the kitchen, study, bedroom, or family room.
Returns are accepted in most cases within 15 days from the date you receive your delivery. All shipments originate in Dallas, Texas. If the mobile was returned damaged due to improper packing only a 50% refund will be issued. In the rare case that the mobile is damaged on its way to you I will ship a new one as soon as I can without any additional charges to you. Returns requested after 30 days will receive a store credit and be assessed on a case by case basis. If you refuse your shipment and it is returned to me I will refund you less the original shipping fee, the return shipping fee (yes, ups charges a return shipping fee) and a 20% restocking fee unless other arrangements have been made prior to refusing the shipment.
Each mobile (except for my “ReadyToShip” which ship same or next day) is CUSTOM HANDMADE TO ORDER SPECIFICALLY FOR YOU, nothing is mass-produced! My current turnaround time is approximately 1 to 2 weeks (larger ones take longer). Demand for my work is always high, so please order now.
